Robert

Rebekah |
Welcome,
my name is Robert Hartung, and I go by the handle of
Bookworm Cowboy on Paltalk; age 52 and married. My Wife's name is
Rebekah, and we been married since the spring of 1988. We live in
Lakeland, Florida USA. I was born in
Maple Shade, New Jersey
in the fall of the late 1950's. After graduation, I first lived in an efficiency apartment
atop the
Palace Confectionery in
Riverside, NJ
until the spring of 1980, when I moved to
Lakeland, Florida USA.
Professionally, I owned a
Small Engine Repair
Business in
Riverside, NJ
and then moved it to
Lakeland, Florida.
I was in a number of other professions; including a
Professional Magician and
Clown, Rabbit Breeder, Security, and Web Designer.
Due to the lack of morality
among the majority of people, even in Christian circles, I believed I
wouldn't find a devout Christian woman to tie the knot. However, in the fall
of 1987, I met Rebekah working at a local restaurant, and in the spring of
1988; we became man and wife,
and we've been living a happy God Fearing life for 24 years. We were married
at
Shepherd Road Baptist Church, and the rest is history.
Currently, I Retired at age
50 due to a health issue and stay home enjoying life.
I've become an extremely private person in recent years and socialize with a
very select group of successful people. I love to surf the Internet, Shop Online, and voice chat with my friends worldwide on
Paltalk, Skype, or
ooVoo. I love
Facebook, and
more. I enjoy watching my favorite classic television shows or Movies on
Satellite, DVD/Bul-ray, or
Netflix with a
Roku.
My Wife Rebekah is employed by
Publix Supermarket, and
works in the Fresh Pack Warehouse. We have no children. We own 3 dogs named
Buddy, Oscar, and Rosie, and 6 cats named Ms. Kitty, Stinky, Purr Kitty,
Melissa, and so on.

The Robert's Hobby's
-
My Interests and
Hobby's include, -
Computers:
The first computer I owned was a
Commodore PET,
then a
Commodore Vic-20.
The very first IBM Compatible I owned was a DTK 286, 12MHZ with DOS 3.1 and
no Windows. I used it to run The Magic BBS for many years. Currently, I own a Lenovo with a
Intel Centrino dual core laptop with
Windows XP Professional, and Acer Aspire ONE with
Ubuntu Linux. I
own two desktops, the first is a ASUS home built with Linux Red Hat desktop
and the other is a ASUS home built with
SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11. -
Love calling BBS's:
First via landlines, and now via telnet. Formally, I was the Sysop of
The Magic BBS, a
Local Landline
BBS I operated for many years before Cyberspace. -
CB Radio and Amateur Radio:
My Handle on the
CB Radio
was the Bookworm - The weird world of wonder, who is wondering about this weird
world we live in. I quit the CB Radio in 1994; I said "Get a Ham License and Get a Real Radio"
when the popular
CB Radio
hobby was invaded by jammer's due to
the absence of FCC enforcement. Today, Smart Phones and the Internet are a far more effective mode of
Wireless Communications then
CB, and
Amateur Radio;
So I quit both, and moved on
to a voice chat program called
Paltalk in 2010.
Paltalk, the number one alternative to CB and Amateur Radio worldwide!
-
My other Interests include., -
We both attend a local
Christian Home Church
in the Lakeland area. -
Walking - Time
and weather permitting -
Biking - Due to
health issues, I had to quit.
 -
Magic - I did both stage and
close-up at Children's Birthday Parties, local Holiday events and other
venues, and Cruise ships. However, I retired and moved on to other
interests. -
Reading the
Bible, or a good book. -
Facebook -
Chatting
on
Paltalk,
or ChristianChat.com.
-
Fitness (Gold's Gym North Lakeland) &
Martial Arts -
CB Radio
(Bookworm) KBMV-3443; then in 1994
Amateur Radio
call KE4JCD, and Rebekah's call KF4BEL. -
Electronics - Building Kits and other
projects.
-
Our pet's include, -
3 Dogs - Buddy,
Oscar
(Fox Terrier Mix) , and
Rosie (Tea Cup Chihuahua) -
6 Cats -
Ms. Kitty, Stinky, Purr Kitty, Melissa

-
The one true God who lives eternally
in three persons—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
-
The universal sinfulness and guilt of
fallen man, making him subject to God's wrath and condemnation.
-
The divine inspiration and supreme
authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which are the written
Word of God—fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.
-
The atoning sacrifice of Christ
on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating
evil, so reconciling us with God.
-
The bodily resurrection of
Christ, the first fruits of our resurrection; his ascension to the Father,
and his reign and mediation as the only Savior of the world.
-
The justification of the sinner solely
by the grace of God through a true living faith in Christ crucified and
risen from the dead.
-
The ministry of God the
indwelling Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ
through new birth, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.
-
The Church, the body of Christ
both local and universal, the priesthood of all believers—given life by
the indwelling Spirit and endowed with the indwelling Spirit's gifts to
worship God and proclaim the gospel, promoting justice and love.
-
The personal and visible return
of Jesus Christ to fulfill the purposes of God, who will raise all people
to judgment, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation
to the lost, and establish a new heaven and new earth.
